We welcome all friends who are concerned about Taiwan's blind baseball sport to attend this meaningful fundraising dinner.  The event will be held at the residence of the Taiwanese School of Georgia Chairman Mr. Benny Hsu and his beautiful wife Diane.  Those who know Diane should have also known and enjoyed her exquisite food at many social gatherings and activities. Due to limited spaces, please reserve your seat in advance.  Each voucher for a couple is $ 120.  Children under the age of 12 is free (more than 12, donation is appreciated).  2013年世界杯盲人棒球賽 (NBBA World Series) 將在Columbus, GA 舉行, 喬治亞州臺灣學校將再度為遠從台灣來此參加比賽的臺灣紅不讓盲人棒球隊加油並且提供全程的協助。球隊每年為了要出國來參加比賽 都得要向各界募款籌措旅費, 大部份的球員本身都還得負擔生活家計,再加上年年上漲的飛機交通費用更是沉重的負擔, 今年因為是在我們所在的地方舉行比賽所以球隊特別排除萬難來參加比賽. 所以台灣學校將提供球員們在比賽期間更周全的服務,也準備招待球隊在完成比賽後到亞特蘭大周邊的風景名勝參觀旅遊.

再次特別感謝去年捐助者的支持, 去年在愛阿華州舉行的比賽,台灣盲人棒球隊歷經落入敗部,再接再厲在最後的冠亞軍決賽經過將近6小時的奮戰終於贏得冠軍,整個比賽過程非常的艱苦和戲劇性，我們將會在現場和大家分享.  我們去年的募款總額將近$5500.- 扣除了所有的費用(台灣隊的Welcome party), 比賽期間的食材, 招待台灣隊晚餐外食(西餐廳)及最後一天的BBQ(IA) 結餘部份$2200.-(參與志願者的住宿和交通費用完全自理)。今年世界盃盲棒比賽將在本州舉行、台灣隊史無前例的組成一支將近２７人的隊伍來到亞特蘭大, 屆時所有的開銷將會倍增, 同時停留期間的住宿費用更是一大負擔，所以我們希望能提高募款金額，也會做最適當的運用, 再者喬治亞州今年也有三支盲人棒球隊成立,我們希望若有結餘的部份也能來支持我們本地的球隊,

Dear All,

We hope that you all had spent a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends. Our school is now entering to its second semester. Without you, TSG won't be able to make a lot of outstanding achievements in a short span of time. Let's work together again to make TSG more mature and prosper.

School will start on January 5, 2013. Preview is welcome & free for all classes. TSG will also give you 10% tuition discount for referral.

 今年亞特蘭大台灣同鄉會中秋節”台灣夜市”已經是連續第五年舉辦，台灣學校的夜市路邊攤陣容的是其中最精彩和最受歡迎的主力。中秋夜市擺攤販賣各種台灣小吃的活動是從2007年的中秋節，由當時的同鄉會創始,利用私人倉庫旁邊的停車場,規劃有小吃攤位,兒童遊戲的區域,燈光音響卡拉OK和舞台的設計，每年在這短短的幾個小時吸引了幾百位慕名而來的鄉親和不同族裔的人潮，去年更有喬州州長候選人Mr. Nathan Deal專程來此拜訪及和鄉親們同樂，可見台灣夜市的活動也成為推廣台灣文化的重要活動之一。
